16 – 27 November
Monday thru Friday
8 am – 12 pm PET

The Kanban Train the Trainer course is designed for those with a passion for Kanban who want to deliver KU Certified Kanban training. This course does not teach Kanban fundamentals, rather it focuses on ensuring the candidate’s effectiveness as a trainer. It is expected all students have significant Kanban experience and have attained the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential from Kanban University.
Are you new to Kanban? Perhaps you are familiar with Scrum as a team leader, a project manager or a Scrum Master and would like to see how Kanban can help improve visibility, flow and or predictability.
Maybe you are a team member that has been included in a Kanban implementation. You don’t need to know how to build, scale or drive improvements, but want to learn enough to be an effective team member in a service delivery workflow.
If either case sounds familiar, make our Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) class your first step on the Kanban University Development Path!
The TKP credential is granted upon the completion of the one-day TKP course. It is designed to introduce the principles of Kanban for a team to get started or for the complete team to get the appropriate exposure to be effective within a Kanban system. Many people new to Kanban find TKP to be the best entry point.
Once you have achieved the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential, your journey on the Kanban University Development Path can continue on the Training Path (as we covered in our recent Train the Trainer newsletter) or you can take the Coaching Path.
KMPs who attend the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM) and Kanban Coaching Practices (KCP) courses will attain the Kanban Coaching Professional credential. KCPs understand the Kanban Maturity Model playbook to help evolve an organization to higher levels of maturity.
Learn more about the two courses required for the KCP credential:
