Kanban Systems Design (KMP I ) is a highly interactive course that lays the foundations of the principles and practices of the Kanban Method. This course has been created by leading Kanban experts including David J. Anderson and has been recently re-designed for online learning.
This course will be using the https://www.okaloa.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" style="color: var(--eds-control,#3659e3); cursor: pointer; background-color: transparent; padding-top: 0px;" target="_blank">Okaloa Flowlab online simulation for you to experience the core Kanban practices and principles.
This online course is divided into 4 Sessions that are a mixture of instruction, simulation, interactive exercises, with pragmatic advice that will help you gain practical knowledge that can be taken away and implemented immediately.

- Understanding Kanban systems using the Okaloa Flowlab online simulation
- Metrics and charts
- Learn and use STATIK (Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban) to design your Kanban system
- Kanban board and ticket visual design
Prerequisites
All experience levels are welcome. Although no previous Kanban training or experience is required, it is beneficial if you have completed the TKP - Team Kanban Practitioner course and/or have read "Kanban" by David J Anderson or "Kanban from the Inside" by Mike Burrows.
Certification
Participants will earn a Certificate of Completion of Kanban University Certified Kanban Training and membership listing in Kanban University alumni directory. Completing this course and the Kanban Management Professional II course will receive the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential.
Note: Both KMPI and KMPII courses have to be completed to earn the KMP credential.

How to Access the Training
We use Zoom and Miro for our training. You will receive the Zoom link after registration and before the course begins. Please become familiar with Miro before the class.

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the course starts. No refunds after this date. Please note that we require a minimum of 2 students to make this course financially feasible the organizer reserves the right to cancel classes if registrations are insufficient.
