Kanban concepts are a pragmatic and actionable way for teams to visualize and manage their delivery flow in real time.

Our Unique Approach

NextUp Solutions' Kanban System Design (KSD) is a highly interactive two-day class accredited by Kanban University. It provides a detailed look at using Kanban to deliver faster and drive continuous improvement. Students will become familiar with the fundamentals of Kanban by participating in an engaging and collaborative board game in which teams will compete to maximize value by optimizing workflow. The class, which also includes elements of lecture and classroom discussion, will challenge students to develop and refine their own Kanban to drive decisions and improve performance in their work.

About Your Trainer

Jill Stott is a Senior Agile Trainer at NextUp Solutions with more than 20 years of practical experience working in various IT roles and as a professional educator. As NextUp Solutions' certified SAFe trainer and certified Kanban trainer, she has led organizations across industries through successful Agile transformations. Additionally, Jill facilitates most of NextUp Solutions' custom Agile courses for clients seeking training geared specifically for their needs. She has trained thousands of people of diverse roles and organizational levels both in-person and virtually on a variety of Agile topics, priding herself on a 95% pass rate. Jill prioritizes making her classes not only highly informative and engaging, but also fun.

Location

This is an online (virtual) class. After registering, students will be given the proper Zoom weblink with which to join the meeting. We recommend that students download the Zoom web-based application prior to joining class.

Cancellation Policy

Students submitting cancellation requests 10 business days or more prior to the start of the course are entitled to a full refund. Students submitting cancellation requests less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will be issued a credit toward a future NextUp Solutions course. The credit will be equal to the amount paid for the initial course less any applicable fees. Should the organizer cancel the course for any reason, each registered student will be refunded 100% of the registration cost they paid.
