<p>My work history is diversified and colourful.&nbsp; After a successful 20-year career dedicated to classical and jazz performance and teaching (French Horn is my instrument), I chose to expand my horizons and joined Berteig Consulting Inc. for a little more than a year. I started out as Executive Assistant and quickly became fascinated to understand the true meaning of of teamwork, agility, and the impact of leadership.&nbsp; I became a Certified ScrumMaster and a Certified Product Owner through Scrum Alliance, but not having a software development or technical background, my learning was at arm's length and not something I could apply in my work.</p><p>When I encountered Kanban System Design, my mind exploded!&nbsp; Life was never the same after playing the "Get Kanban" game one fine spring day in Toronto. I am assimilating my learning from the Kanban System Design and Kanban Management Professional certifications now into my work as the owner of Custom Admin Services. Who says only software and financial organizations can benefit from Kanban System Design? Through my business I am uncovering new truths every day, in my work with clients.</p>
