Karim El-Mehairy

<p>Karim is the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Mirqah, a learning and development company based in Cairo, Egypt. Founded in 2007, Mirqah designs, develops, and delivers a wide variety of facilitator-led trainings, coaching sessions, game-based workshops, blended learning solutions, and co-creative consulting engagements for a varied selection of organizations.</p><p>Karim has 4 years of experience with Agile methodoliges. He has worked with both Scrum and Kanban. He is very passionate about Kanban as a method to organize knowledge work more generally. He engages in projects entailing the adoption of Kanban in a variety of IT and non-IT contexts.</p><p>Karim is finalizing a Doctorate of Philosophy (DPhil) in Educaiton at the University of Oxford, working with the Learning and New Technologies Research Group (LNTRG). He has started-up, launched and operated a variety of technology-based and non-technology based products, the last of which is Learmapp, a social network for learning.</p>
