About Me
<p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">I started my career as software developer but soon discovered the — then 'hot' — UNIX operating system and SQL databases, joining Garmhausen and Partner, a mid 1980s startup in Bonn, Germany. There I helped to almost double the company for 8 years in a row, finally as product manager for the companies major products.</span></p><p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">In the mid 1990s I helped to position another Startup's fuzzy matching technology as the core component to one of the most complete consumer databases in Germany. When the company was acquired by the Deutsche Post Group, I became responsible for developing and operating plenty of products and services based on this. At this time, I repeatedly recognized how delivering incremental results gets accepted as soon as the uncertainties of a venture are obvious — even when de-duplicating the customer database of Germany's largest consumer bank.</span></p><p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">Both these startups and their respective </span><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">growth </span><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">history taught me the value of flexible, adaptive thus AGILE organisations and minds. </span></p><p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">Starting up my third career as a freelance agile consultant based on Scrum in 2009, I soon thereafter discovered the value of combining KANBAN and other agile streams to it. </span></p><p>A formal coaching education in 2015 gave me additional insights on how change would be perceived by individuals, paving the way to lean more towards evolutionary change strategies.</p><p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">I frequently attend regional Agile, KANBAN and Scrum gatherings in the Cologne - Bonn - Düsseldorf area to share experience and knowledge with the community.</span></p><p><span style="caret-color: rgb(55, 76, 87); color: rgb(55, 76, 87); font-family: ClearSans, sans-serif;">I can be contracted for short to medium term agile introductions as well as longer term continuous development endevours. </span></p>
