<p>Patrick is founder of Okaloa. As a creator of Okaloa Flowlab, he teaches and coaches Kanban and agile thinking by making use of business simulations. With his work on Upstream, Customer and Discovery Kanban, he helps organisations to look at the end-to-end flow (from suspected to satisfied need). He is the author of the Essential Upstream Kanban guide, a regular speaker at international lean agile conferences and the winner of the 2015 Birckell Key Award for outstanding contribution to the Lean Kanban community.</p><p>Patrick is a hands-on lean agile transformation and process improvement coach with a track record in delivering resilient change in technology organizations. He is passionate about leading organizational change and coaching organizations to continuous improvement.</p><p>Before starting Okalao in Oct 2012, Patrick was partner at Prosource NV, where he was responsible for lean and agile coaching and training and strategic innovation. Patrick also worked for MediaGenix NV as Chief Technology Officer. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and started his career as post-doc researcher at the Free University of Brussels. </p>
