About Me

Jose Alanya is the Supervisor of Information Technology responsible for Ticketing and Integration systems for the Verizon Terremark organization. Jose and his IT team are responsible for partnering with the business users to align on business priorities and develop the business requirements. His team will coordinate IT software development lifecycle activities, drive on-time delivery of projects, and establish frequent communication to executive leadership on development status.
Jose Alanya greater than 8 years of experience in Information Technology to this role. He envisions his present role as an IT liaison to the business users to assist in developing automation plans which drive key business objectives and enable measurable business benefits.
Prior to this, from December 2009 through March 2010; he was Team Leader of Information in Quadrem. Jose was responsible for the development of new technology solutions and he managed the Billing system by providing leadership and direction to develop and implement it.
From December 2005 through March 2009; he was Team Leader of Information Technology in Voxiva Inc. Jose was responsible for the development of new technology solutions, systems architecture, and project management of strategic automaton project and the adoption Agile with XP and Scrum. He managed projects by providing leadership and direction to develop and implement cost effective solutions to advance the organization with its users and improve competitive advantage for Voxiva.
Between July 2001 and May 2003, Jose worked as Architect for this Intranet Operational for AFP Union Vida in GMD. He led a team of software engineers responsible for providing development of several mission critical applications encompassing different lines of business including the use of Feature-Driven Development (FDD) in the applications.
