About Me

Dr. Boris Kneisel co-founded herontix GmbH - the Agile Business Innovation Performance Excellence consultancy - there to help organizations to Agilize, Innovate, Defragment & Accelerate.Prior to starting herontix in 2018, Boris served 20 yrs at SAP SE - the German inventor of standardized ERP-software, where he started at Professional Field Services in Consulting & Sales (1998-2004), joined Solution Management (2004-2007) followed by SAP's Service Strategy & Portfolio Group (2007-2010), then he ran groups on Research & Breakthrough Innovation (2010-2012) finally joining SAP's Global Agile Cloud practice as its Lead Agile Coach (2012-2018). His responsibilities covered increasing performance-contributions on business agility & scale-out of working models for 30.000 SW-developers and related roles incl. adaptation of mgmt structures.For 15+ yrs Boris collected vast experience applying innovation methods - namely Design Thinking / customer-experience (UX) techniques, Business-Model-Innovation using various canvas-models (e.g. by A.Osterwalder, A.Maurya), and not to forget TRIZ - the ultimate creative problem solving framework for wicked problems. Ramping inventive solution-ideas implementation-wise up-to-speed, Boris applied many major Agile scaling-frameworks in action - mostly introduced to them by their (co-)inventors.Boris also likes case-specific canvases, frameworks & methods beyond mainstream to ensure fit-for-purpose in organizations, a good product-market fit towards customer needs, and has also developed own contributions - namely in areas of innovation mgmt & discovery procedures. He carefully inspects case-by-case and tries to leverage existing stuff in order not to re-invent the wheel.
